I'm not sure I understand people who constantly have others round to their house, tramping through their front door, swilling their wine, chomping through their food. Maybe if I kept my apartment tidier and my fridge full of actual food rather than rolls of film, half-eaten cheese, and chilled tap water, I'd be keener to invite more people round. Maybe its because as soon as I get home, I'm straight into my pajamas and glasses unlike others who appear to have some weird bit of their wardrobe devoted to "house clothes". I've seen them. Gaggles of girls in Glassons trying on chinos and baggy tunic tops. One will say, "Those look nice," and the other will reply, "Yeah. Its just for wearing round the house." Enlighten me?

I was in Paris in June (as you know), and now I'm going back again in September. I miss you and I miss our holiday. I wish you lived closer and I wish you were still coming here so we could have eaten ice-cream in the sun, instead of huddling in cafes with that chill wind outside.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you! Home, dinner, crafting, reading bed. Occasionally I think of inviting people over then run through the scenario and think, na. I like being a hermit.
ReplyDeleteOh Gosh I love you.
ReplyDeleteThis post is perfection.

Haha house clothes?! Ok, phew, at least we're similar in terms of what we wear at home (me – old tshirts from school and boxers) and how we behave at home :)
