I drew a sun today (#76). And spent fifteen minutes eating an orange (#19). The juice dripped down the inside of my wrist as I ate it and looked out the window at the clouds trundling past. Afterwards, I walked around the office, hunting under desks. I found a paper clip, a hotel pen, a butterfly cutout, and a plastic daffodil (#22). I hung them on the pot plant next to me. I started doing pencil rubbings of coins (#55) but got hungry and searched for chocolate instead.

I saw a gorgeous maxi dress in Farmers yesterday, it's purple, orange, black and pink and had a plain black lining skirt under and then the colourful polyester chiffon. It does have strange thin straps that I would hack off if I purchased it :)I dream about it!

ReplyDeleteah yes, i can understand what you mean about things of beauty being beautiful because they are transient. for me, the opening lines of the keats poem are beyond perfect. for as often as things of beauty are transient they also live on in memory -- initial fondness and appreciation recalled, increasing in loveliness, never passing into nothingness and forever holding us to the moment we first acknowledged their beauty.
