the promenade

My days and nights have been filled with flowers, Eiffel-tower shaped pasta, soap that looks like slices of cake, bagels and blueberries and nights at the ballet. The coming of summer always feels like a big upward curve in nice things and events to look forward to. The sun is so rare in Wellington. When it comes, the entire town floods out, promenading along the waterfront, queuing for gelato, and jumping off the wharf into the ocean. OH! And let's not forget fireworks!

It sounds like heaven in your corner of the world! The pasta is gorgeous - I've never seen that before! Blue berries are out here too and I am very much enjoying them! Lovely post as always Ana B!

Beautiful. I adore your hairstyle, it is stunning. I agree, there aren't many feelings that are better than start of summer. In relation to my modcloth shoes, I am very impressed with the quality and details. Can't fault them at all. I've also wanted the blue neap tide heels for ages. I ended up buying them in red but I was really disapointed with the quality and the colour was a lot different to the website. So, its very hard to tell.

The photos you take are always so beautiful and ethereal! I can't believe that's a soap! The pieces look delicious! And the outfit you're wearing in the last pic is just perfect like these pics!

Hi Anab! It's always such a lovely prezie to get a comment from you, and then get to go to your blog and feel immediately calmer and surrounded by beautiful things!
I'm so jealous of you Southern Hemispherians (?) when we head into winter and you into summer! Though I can completely relate to your Wellington weather now being in Edinburgh!
Love your blouse in your outfit photo (love the whole outfit too)!
Hope you are having a beautiful week!

Is that a Gibson tuck I see, lovely? It's a great hairstyle for you. My hair is too long to hold it well, but I plan on getting a haircut in a few weeks, so Gibson tuck here I come! Hehe, anyway. You're looking as beautiful as ever. I hope the sun shines more often for you in Wellington!
