sour cherry gelato

The day started with sour cherry gelato and ended with a sunset so golden brown and warm, it felt like a hug. Maudlin, I know. But what can I say? On the walk up, we encountered two mountain bikers, two runners sprawled on the grass, and a wildlife artist snapping shots of a hopping bird. She thought I was taking photos of the bird too and asked me whether I knew what kind it was. I said, "No. I was taking a picture of the fence." Taking a picture of a fence, people. That's how I roll.

PS. Gelato eating and gelato photo completely and utterly inspired from Diana's Nutella gelato picture in Rome. Pay Diana a visit. She's ace.

♥ Photos by me and Rob D on a Pentax K1000, SMC Pentax-M 28mm f2.8 lens, Kodak Portra NC160 film

  2. beautiful place. and i love the last photo. So cute.

my son and me are the only human being my husband likes to photograph. So when he went to China with his colleagues they find it odd that my husband take so much photos of the place. some people uh... They think cameras are for smiling people only.

  4. There is no such thing as gelato here in California (well, there's an Italian eatery in San Francisco that sells it, only 8 hours away from me, nbd).

Your post reminds me of Summer (and Rome!)
