Rob suggested I write about berries and cookies so here goes. I smushed these berries in between my fingers. I expected a smear kind of like strawberry jam oozing in between my fingers, but instead I got a pink, watery stain all over my palms. Disappointing. This week I had the best shortbread chocolate chip cookie from the Lido. I ate it lying in bed with the covers tucked underneath my chin. Ace.

ReplyDeleteberries can be disappointing. we had raspberry and blackberry bushes when i was a kid. i was a big fucking pig (still am), and went to town on those bushes one day -- just gobbling up every berry in site. then i bothered to LOOK AT THE BERRIES, and i finally noticed that tiny green bugs were in each berry. HURL.
