sheer dresses and substantial shadows

It's raining that soft, sheer kind of rain, like the world has decided to wear a see-through dress. It swirls and flutters, obscuring details on buildings and smudging streetlights. Colours bleed and blow out, glowing through the watery fog. These photos, taken during an achingly perfect summer's day in Wellington, is a reminder of how air can feel scorched, and shadows can feel as substantial as something you hold in your hands.
