6,768 Miles Apart

I haven't been around the internet much. But there is one person whom I always look forward to talking with and that is Diana. Is it possible to feel like you're old friends with someone you've never met?

P.S. We've been getting a few queries around the time of day we take our photos. Originally, we started off true to our inspiration and took photos in the morning before 11 am. In August last year we announced that we were changing our brief and our pictures were no longer limited to the morning. This fundamental change to the project is mentioned every fortnight in our little signature below. Thanks, lovelies!

My pictures on the left, hers on the right.

6,768 Miles Apart appears every fortnight.
Our pictures are no longer limited to the morning.
But our focus remains the same.
Read how it started here.
Look at the archives here and here.

We were featured here.
We also love Naomi and Marie from the transatlantic lens project &
Adeline and Astrid from Her - Der

Ooh, you have one of those butterfly porcelain plate thingies (I'm sure there's a better name for it, hehe)! Pretty ^_^

more rad shots! you guys do such a fabulous job in this series!

and it is so funny -- i feel closer to some bloggers that i have never met than to my "real" friends. i think that is bizarre, and fabulous.

Ah, this collaboration has only gotten better and better. Kudos for making the time and having the imagination to capture all the little details in life!

Wow. The egg on the plate. So simple, yet so incredible. May be due to the fact that I spent 6 weeks doing egg still lifes in art. But seriously, so tranquil. Makes me want a quiet sunday morning in the summer. I love how the round shape of the plate is reflected in Dianas photo of the merry go round.

Have I told you that viewing 6,768 Miles Apart always makes me happy? How it's the bright spot in the sometimes hefty task of whittling through my Google Reader? If not, now you know. The connection you and Diana share through this collaboration is so strong, so apparent. Something to be treasured, for sure.
