When winter falls, my first instinct is to rail against the coming darkness by wearing as many garish patterns and bright colours as possible. However, this year I've been influenced by the svelte all-black neo-Gothic silhouettes of Ricardo Tisci at Givenchy and the ever-popular Alexander Wang. I find myself cloaked in black, draped in studs and chains, and dreaming about motorcycle boots. For the Northern Hemisphere, this is old news. For the Southern, the cut-price, chain store versions of these trends are only now hitting the racks. For someone whose been in such a long relationship with colour, I find myself drawn into a new, and thrilling affair with black, black, black. And I might never go back.

ReplyDeletei'm a lover of colourless palates. i wear black, white, cream and grey and every now and then throw in a splash of colour but generally i stick to the neutrals.
Love these pictures.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very dark and black season for us, isn't it? I've been finding myself being drawn to a lot of black lately too.
i love how i automatically feel a little sexier in black (but don't forget the color, pretty please!)
ReplyDeleteColor or black, you wear everything well! I really like this outfit - so sleek. This also reminds me that I need to find a pair of black jeans.

ReplyDeletei love black i wear it way too often im sure! i wear for spring and summer not just fall and winter! but its a color that i feel comfortable in! you look lovely in it :)
ReplyDeletei love your outfit, ana! i love black, but i am the opposite when it comes to your dilemma. working in a job where it required you to wear all black for a uniform had a hard time throwing in some pink here and then, now, i look like the easter bunny. i have yet to find balance but i love this!!
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with black! Black is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteps: Hope your bf is not misusing your ebay-account. Mine was too lazy to open his own account.......men.....lol
