sick in autumn

I felt well enough during the weekend to take a slow promenade around the city, buy a couple of things, and admire the trees in autumn. Unfortunately, since the weekend, I have fallen ill again! This makes me feel like Sisyphus, rolling his boulder up a hill only to let go and have it roll back down again. I'm left to trudge downhill, head bowed, trying to find the energy to push once more. So tell me, when you feel like everything is against you, and you can't bear the thought of getting out of bed, how do you keep going?

I'm so sorry you are still sick! I just emailed you asking about that, too!

At least you look good sick :P

There is a scary swine flu going around here in California and spreading like wild fire, they have to cancel semesters until further notice. Thank God you don't have that!!

  4. WOAH this page load-up is so so weird (my browsers fault) so I apologise if this message appears a tad scrambled lol.

Hun! Don't worry, no sweet has left any orifice from either a) the lack of comments and b) you rush through DF semelling Flora lol.

Lovely photos! You always seem to take the most intimate looking and professional ones. Or rather your man behind the camera ;) hehehe

Get well! Rug up! And blow a hair dryer under your sheets whilst coccooning yourself in mega layers! I've heard that helps.... :)

  9. I once got a really bad cold and have to stay at work til 7.30 for the whole week. from that I learned that it's nothing complicate, you just do it, nothing more and it will pass eventually. Hope you get well soon! You always make a happy post. Also the outfit is adorable indeed.

  10. Hi Gorgeous! I hope you feel better soon! I stay in bed when I'm sick all day and make sure I have plenty of water to drink. I'll call my bf to make me laugh or turn on the TV and watch "Friends". You look lovely in that dress! xxoxoxoxo

  11. Sorry to hear that you are sick again! This happened to me last year, it was so frustrating. In my case it was because I didn't take good care of myself through the first cold, and didn't rest and sleep enough. I don't know if it's true in your case, but maybe you do need a whole day in bed with movies, books and tea?

  15. i'm so sorry you're still sick (at least you still look fabulous!) get rest, lots and lots of rest until your body is ready to get back to routine. that's the only way to keep going, you've got to slow down.

  16. This is a beautiful set of photos. Despite being sick, you look perfectly adorable for autumn! If it is any consolation, I've been fighting a pesky cold for the last week. It can be seriously frustrating when an illness takes over leaving us with no say over our bodies. I think lots of rest is the key. Best wishes for your health, Ana :)

  37. Oh no! Feel better!
How do I go on? ha, when I'm sick, I don't. I'm all about relaxing and just focusing on getting better if at all possible. If you keep on going then you don't give yourself enough time to get better.

If you can't put the world on hold for your sickness, drinks lots of tea. ha, that's all the medical advice I've got :]
