You make me REALLY want to visit NZ. Like, I've always wanted to go, but now I want to go even more. It's looks beautiful. Plus, there's only so many times you can have classmates and teachers tell you that NZ is the most beautiful country in the world before you get jealous :]
What a lovely combination of pictures! So much colours! I would like to see New Zealand but it is so far away... My husband says, New Zealand is the most beautiful country in the world.
These photos are all so lovely. I've got the travel bug bad right now, and since I can't decide where to go, maybe I'll just throw a dart at a map, and hope that it lands on New Zealand. = ) Or Italy. Or both. I've rented mouse-infested houses too, and it's not fun. But our house isn't mouse-infested, it's a rare occurence that Sifl catches a mouse, and he brings them in from the garage. I've never seen evidence of their activity in the house. And it made me feel all noble to save it, but let me tell you, Mimi is a total ingrate and keeps trying to escape. As for the name, I was actually watching "The Gay Divorcee" the night before Mimi and I crossed paths, and Ginger Rogers' character's name was Mimi, so I'm thinking that's where that came from. Probably.
Ana, Thank you for the super sweet comment! Yes, the poem was pretty spontaneous - structure & all. I was actually in the kitchen when the first line came to me and I had to scurry out to write it down. There's nothing that irks me more than when I compose a poem in my head and have no means of writing it down. Gah, it's terrible. Hope you're having a lovely weekend! ♥, Emily
The first and last pics are amazing, Ana B.! WOW!
