I let myself loose in my mother's closet again. While she is gallivanting in New York, I am cavorting in her backyard in a muddy bathtub wearing a heavily-beaded 1960s vintage gown, pearls and a big damn flower corsage. I thought corsages were over in the early 2000s but ever since Patricia Field decided to resurrect it for a trip down memory lane for the SATC movie, they've been creeping back into stores. Also below is beautiful yellow 50s vintage dress and frou frou pastel blue apron which I would wear if I could bake. Tonight, there will be sushi, sake, and perhaps more kareoke with the workmates! That yellow dress lives in my dreams! I have been looking for one like that for ages. And I love that you have a bathtub in your garden - I have always wanted to buy an antique French tub with claw feet and fill it with water lilies in my garden. When I have a garden, of course, which won't be anytime soon!

By the way, don't let your mum throw the bathtub away, they are worth about $100 if you take it to the scrap metal place at the tip. Oooh money to buy more clothes with! xxx

I wish I could remember where I got the image from. I think i stumbled across it while doing a random Google Image search.
