Since summer is fast approaching in the Southern Hemisphere, expect to see more gallivanting around the beach. Except that I never seem to be wearing appropriate beach attire. I am still on the hunt for a vintage-y one-piece. I'm moving away from bikinis/tankinis because I've had enough of sucking my stomach in on the beach. I'm still smarting over losing this Trademe auction by miss.perfect:

This suit may cross the line between ugly and pretty but I'm a big fan of ugly-pretty things! The mismatched floral and collegial stripes together really get me. I think I may be stalking whoever stocks Tigerlily in New Zealand for any one of the togs below (and who knew they did a nice collection of beach dresses and covetable separates?!):
I will keep a record of my search for the non-nana one-piece but will spare all from changing room pics. Yeouch.
